Today DigiSay acts as a media group with subsidiaries providing end to end services around the content life-cycle from inception to monetization. DigiSay aims to focus on the media sector from a technology, production, and venture building perspective.

Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Development

  • Work closely with founders/leadership to develop, refine, and document the company's overall business strategy, growth plans, and business model for the Egyptian market.
  • Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable objectives and key results (OKRs) or key performance indicators (KPIs) for different teams/functions.
  • 1.1 Business Model Refinement: Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to the company's business model, especially regarding revenue generation and scalability in the local context.
  • 1.2 Opportunity Identification:
  • Identify and evaluate potential new growth avenues, such as strategic partnerships (e.g., with local influencers, platforms, or other media entities), new content verticals, distribution channels, or revenue streams relevant to the market.
  • 1.3 Performance Analysis & Insights:
  • Analyze business and operational performance data to extract strategic insights.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership to support data-driven decision-making regarding strategic direction and investments.

2. Operations Responsibilities

Process Design & Optimization:

  • Map out, design, implement, document, and continuously improve core operational workflows essential for the media start-up (e.g., content ideation-to-publication process, social media scheduling & engagement, basic ad operations, audience feedback loops).
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement solutions.

Day-to-Day Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth execution, adherence to content calendars/publishing schedules, and maintenance of quality standards.
  • Act as a point person for troubleshooting immediate operational issues.

Resource Allocation & Management:

  • Assist leadership in managing the allocation of resources (budget, people's time on projects, key tools) across different initiatives and operational needs. Track operational spending against budgets.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication:

  • Serve as a key liaison between different teams (e.g., content creators, social media managers, sales/marketing, founders) to ensure alignment, facilitate communication, and manage dependencies.
  • Digital Marketing and media experience is a plus.

Foundational Support :

  • Assist with basic office management, HR administration (like onboarding), or coordinating finance-related administrative tasks.

Ideal Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Experience

8-15 years of hands-on experience on strategy and operations

Core Project Management Execution:

Strong ability to plan, manage, and control project scope schedule (creating required forms/tools ), budget, risks, quality, and resources using appropriate methodologies (like Agile, Waterfall).

Leadership & Communication
Excellent skills in leading and motivating diverse teams, communicating clearly across cultures, effectively reporting progress, status, and risks to all stakeholders, managing expectations, negotiating effectively, and resolving conflicts.

Strategic & Business Acumen

Understanding how projects align with business goals, thinking strategically, solving problems effectively, and making sound decisions.

Adaptability & Professionalism

Flexibility and agility to handle change, resilience under pressure.

In essence, this role acts as the engine room manager and navigator for the start-up, ensuring the strategic direction is sound and achievable, while also making sure the day-to-day activities required to get their run efficiently and effectively within the specific context of the media environment. Adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to be hands-on are crucial.

Work Arrangements

  • Working Hours: 8 hours.
  • Working Type : Hybrid - Frequent Traveling to GCC countries when needed
  • Days Off: 2 days per week
  • On-Site Work: Required based on business needs
