DigiSay Group is a media tech company that started in 2010 focusing initially on creator services including content management and distribution. Today DigiSay acts as a media group with subsidiaries providing end to end services around the content life-cycle from inception to monetization. DigiSay aims to focus on the media sector from a technology, production, and venture building perspective.

About the Role

The Digital Production Manager will oversee the creative, commercial, and management aspects of DigiSay’s digital content production. This role is crucial for driving innovation in content creation, managing a talented production team, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with business goals.

Role Scope

Creative and Production Scope

  • Develop innovative content trends, creative strategies, and concepts.
  • Execute different formats and manage scriptwriting for our original content.
  • Generate fresh show concepts.
  • Research industry updates and production trends.
  • Coordinate with producers, editors, designers, and creatives to execute digital content for DigiSay and clients.

Commercial Scope

  • Collaborate with the business development team to pitch clients.
  • Responsible for getting sponsors for the Digisay produced shows.

Management Scope

  • Lead and manage the digital production team.
  • Establish and manage DigiSay's in-house studio.
  • Establish and manage DigiSay's production brand.
  • Manage and supervise the production pipeline and make sure that we’re meeting the project's KPIs and the deadline.

KPIs for the Production Department focus on several key aspects

Business Plan

  • Present an annual business plan for the production unit at DS that should include the following
  • Financial plan with budget, expenses, revenue and expected profit.
  • Operating Model, including Analysis of internal capabilities, workforce, and processes.
  • Develop a comprehensive production strategy, outlining the full production pipeline along with the current ongoing projects.

Capacity building

  • Build the production unit with the main elements needed in terms of human resources internal or external, equipment, devices, etc.

Managing projects

  • Validate and oversee the current production projects and develop them if needed.
  • Come up with 5 different creative concepts, develop and produce them before the end of the year to be executed internally by DS.
  • Make sure that we have at least 4 other internal projects in our pipelines.
  • Manage any external productions projects that DS may acquire, which include developing the concept, pitching, execution, publishing plan supervision.

Financial KPIs

  • We understand that in the 1st year, our main focus will be building capacity and establishing the brand name, however we need to make sure that by the end of this year we cover the unit expenses including the direct, indirect cost and overheads.
  • We expect that the production unit will be profitable starting from next year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital content production or a related field, with a proven track record of leading production teams.
  • Experience in developing and executing creative strategies for digital content.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead digital production teams and manage complex projects with strict deadlines.
