About The Role:

An Account Director you will be responsible for managing and expanding our client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and driving revenue growth. You will serve as the main point of contact for our clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships while providing strategic guidance and overseeing the execution of account plans. This role requires exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of our industry and the ability to drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand clients' business objectives, target audience, and social media goals to develop effective strategies and campaigns.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with their brand and marketing objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and provide strategic guidance to drive results.
  • Account Growth and Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and drive revenue growth. Work closely with the sales team to develop upsell and cross-sell strategies, and actively contribute to business development efforts.
  • Campaign Execution and Performance Monitoring: Oversee the execution of social media and Digital campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned with client objectives. Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention: Proactively address client needs and concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Conduct regular account reviews, provide performance reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Industry and Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices. Share knowledge and insights with clients and internal teams, positioning the agency as a thought leader.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field; or equivalent in experience
  • 10-12 years of account management with proven hands on experience and expertise within an agency environment.
  • Perfect command of Arabic and English
  • Preferably with regional clients experience within MENA/GCC
  • Knowledge of the advertising industry, creative, activation, digital and production aspects
  • Strong influencing style and executive presence; articulate and confident
  • Understanding of the new media, competitor activity and variety of the campaigns
  • Persuasive ability and assertiveness while dealing with tricky issues
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Ability to build relationships with suppliers and clients.
